Brandon initially ran track to stay in shape for soccer, but quickly fell in love the sport. He walked onto the track team at Georgia Tech and saw immediate improvements in his running times, becoming a four year varsity letterman while pursuing a degree in electrical engineering.

Track and field fans around the country know Brandon for his end-of-race kick, which has propelled him to exciting victories, PRs and national acclaim on multiple occasions. In 2015, Brandon became the first Georgia Tech runner and first native-born Georgian to break the 4:00 mile. Since joining Atlanta Track Club Elite, Brandon has seen continued improvement and competed at the USATF Indoor Championships.
