This last month has been a wild ride but a good one! We ended up going undefeated and winning Norceca's. It was a great all around tournament for us. We continually got better as the tournament went on and we proved why we are #2 in the World. It was fun to go back to Puerto Rico to see everyone. I played there my first season overseas and it was great to go back and see all the wonderful people that I met and played with. As with every tournament it brings its challenges. We just finished competing in the NORCECA tournament in Caguas, Puerto Rico. We went undefeated and won the tournament, which also won us a spot in the World Cup, the first opportunity to qualify for the Olympics. The team is really coming together and we are looking forward to our last tournament of year three of this quad. At the end of August into the beginning of September, we competed in our zone championship in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. When we play in Puerto Rico, we usually play in either in San Juan or Caguas, so a change in venue was something new. It was very hot and very humid as we started practice in preparation for the start of the tournament. We started off very strong, beating Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica, and Cuba to finish first in our pool.
