Men's National Volleyball Team In Tough VS. Brazil

BRAZIL BEATS THE YOUNG CANADIAN SQUAD FIRST ROUND.

Defending champions Brazil debuted in the men’s volleyball tournament of the Pan American Games by outclassing Canada in straight sets 25-17, 25-13, 25-13 in Pool B on Monday. In a match of few errors from both sides (15 by Canada and 14 by Brazil) that lasted 1 hour and 4 minutes, the winners held a 9-4 advantage in blocking and blanked the oppo...nents 5-0 in service aces.

Louis Pierre Maniville (Captain of Canada): “This was a little bit disappointing in the loss; Brazil is a very experienced team. Our sequences were not so good, but we have seen improvements, since the last time we played. We expect a good performance for the rest of the tournament.”

He then went on to play 5 seasons with the Intercounty Brantford Red Sox winning 3 championships in 5 years. Adam was named to the 2007 All Star team at 2B. He played 3 seasons with the Team Ontario Provincial Team.

Adam has spent the last 3+ years with Mizuno Canada Ltd. working numerous events and can be seen at many ball diamonds across the country promoting Mizuno and the game of baseball. He has a passion for the game of baseball and wants to grow the game in Canada from the grass roots level!
