How does the Horizon compare to the Paradox 3? Is it as firm?
Keephealthly on Jan 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Wave Horizon is a premium-cushioned guidance shoe. It is softer and more flexible (mainly through the mid-foot to forefoot area) than the Paradox. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 1-800-966-1211.
Support level compared to Wave Inspire?
A shopper on Feb 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Wave Horizon is a more cushioned version of our Wave Inspire line. It is a guidance shoe with max cushion. Similar to the Wave Nirvana series. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 1-800-966-1211. Feb
I usually wear Brooks Beast, looking for a lighter shoe but supportive and cushion. What do you recommend for overpronator, heavy runner?
A shopper on Feb 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Horizon will be a great choice but if you want something a bit lighter I would go with the Catalyst. It will be about 2 ounces lighter. It will not have the same cushion of the Horizon so it really depends on which route you would like to go. Please feel free to contact us at 1-800-966-1211 if you have any further questions.
Does mizuno have a high cushion shoes neutral?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We produce numerous shoes with different levels of cushion and support (http://www.mizunousa.com/Running/Shoes/Mens/Neutral). We would strongly recommend visiting one of our Mizuno Authorized Retailers to go through a full fitting to determine which size/support system is best for you. How does this new model compare to the Nirvana which was in lineup approx. 10 plus years ago? Really like the Nirvana model.
A shopper on Feb 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Wave Horizon is a more cushioned version of our Wave Inspire line. It is a guidance shoe with max cushion. Similar to the Wave Horizon series. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 1-800-966-1211.
Which of the Mizuno shoes is as close to the Inspire 9 as possible? I bought the inspire 10s a while back and only started wearing it now, and it feels so narrow compared to the 9s.
A shopper on Apr 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Enter an answer to this question. The only inspires I have had are the 12s. Your right I found the toe box narrow. I wasn't able to wear these running for multiple reasons but do wear them daily casually. I most like the wave paradox. They have a wide toe box, support, light, and airy. I just tried the new horizon. I am still out on this shoe. The difference so far is it has way more cushion, almost too much. I think they will settle, I only have about 20 miles on them. Overall the feel is good. I still prefer the paradox for 10+ mile runs.
I wear a size 8.5 womens what size mens would that be?
A shopper on Apr 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You usually want to go down about a size and a half so a men's 7 would be about right. Please feel free to contact us at 1-800-966-1211 if you have any further questions.
I have a lot of heel pressure when I stand or walk and I walk on concrete all day. What would be the best shoe to absorb/disperse that pressure under my heels? I would also mention that I have owned both the inspires and riders and I loved the fit of both of them.
A shopper on Apr 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would suggest getting fitted at a local retailer as they can decide which option would be best for you. As far as some options the Enigma and the Horizon are going to have the most cushion for the neutral and support categories. Between these two it will really depend on which style you would need. Please feel free to contact us at 1-800-966-1211 if you have any further questions.
I require an extra wide shoe does Mizuno have any shoe to fit me?
Glenn M on Mar 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We are going to carry wide shoes in three of our models. If you are looking for a support shoe I would suggest either the Paradox or the Inspire. The Rider is the other shoe that will come in a wide but it will be a neutral shoe. Please feel free to contact us at 1-800-966-1211 if you have any further questions.
Would these make good walking shoes?
Mike E on Feb 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Wave Horizon is going to be our premium cushion guidance shoe. It will have the same support that our other shoes like the Inspire do but will have better cushion. It you are looking for a support shoe than this would be the best option for you I believe. Please feel free to contact us at 1-800-966-1211 if you have any further questions.
How does the Wave Horizon compare to the Wave Rider?
Trey C on Feb 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Wave Horizon is a premium-cushion guidance shoe. The Wave Rider is a neutral, all-around trainer. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 1-800-966-1211.
I can't find a shoe that has motion control, does mizuno have one? not easy to navigate and look up a shoe that has motion control
A shopper on Feb 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The term "motion control" and "stability" are very similar and different between talking to people. Long story short...
