Christo Landry Named Michigan Runner Of The Year and Craig Leon Named Oregon LDR Runner Of The Year

Michigan Runner has named Mizuno Racing Team Member, Christo Landry, the 2012 Michigan Runner of The year.  In his first full year as a professional runner on the roads, Christo had a very successful season placing 2nd in both the USATF National 15K and 25K Road Race Championships.  In addition, Christo was named the 2012 USATF Road Circuit Co-Champion of the Year.   A second Mizuno Racing Team Member, Craig Leon,  was named USATF Oregon Male Long Distance Runner Of The Year.  Attached is a story about Craig's award in an article in Race Center Northwest, a...

Serena Burla Previews The Boston Marathon Course

Perspective in a Gym

Sometimes I think I know one of the biggest, but most obvious secrets to success- a will to work hard.  Since my injury this past fall, I started doing a lot of cross training in the gym and have continued to supplement my running with some cross training since then.  Runners are used to their gym being the great outdoors where hill climbing mode is built in with actual hills and accelerations occur naturally when crossing a major roadway, but I've found gyms with four walls have many things to offer as well.  One of my favorite things that the gym has to offer is&nb...
