Michigan Runner has named Mizuno Racing Team Member, Christo Landry, the 2012 Michigan Runner of The year. In his first full year as a professional runner on the roads, Christo had a very successful season placing 2nd in both the USATF National 15K and 25K Road Race Championships. Part of a runner's responsibility is to familiarize oneself with the race course. For Boston, many runners take a video preview by going on line. Most elite runners do practice runs on the course or take a driving tour. Sometimes I think I know one of the biggest, but most obvious secrets to success- a will to work hard. Since my injury this past fall, I started doing a lot of cross training in the gym and have continued to supplement my running with some cross training since then.
