Rod Foley has been with Mizuno USA since 2000, having previously worked at Vertel's Chicago, one of the old school Running Specialty stores.  Originally from Northern New Jersey, Rod graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelors in Accounting.  With that accounting degree, Rod went to work as a bean counter at the prestigious Arthur Andersen & Co., before switching careers and chasing his true passion...running.  He has an extensive knowledge of the athletic footwear industry, and is an avid runner himself, as well as a cyclist.

Wave was introduced at Mizuno in 1998 with the Wave ST.  In 1999 the Wave Rider won the Runner’s World Editors Choice Award.  Since then Wave Technology has won over 30 Runner’s World awards along with dozens of other industry accolades.
