New York Times Article on Mizuno Race Team Member Serena Burla

by Fritz Taylor on March 21, 2011

The New York Times recently published a feature article on Mizuno Race Team Member Serena Burla.  Burla had a cancerous tumor removed from her right hamstring in January of 2010, following her second place finish at the US Half Marathon Championships.  The cancer threatened to end her running career for good, but a "Never Settle" spirit has seen her return to competitive racing.  Burla's story is truly inspirational, and the New York Times does an excellent job of portraying Burla as the fierce competitor that she is.  Needless to say, this is a must-read.
