Mizuno Extends Endorsement Deal with Runner Antonio Vega

USA Half Marathon Champion Extends Relationship with Mizuno Race Team
Mizuno USA, Inc. has announced the company has signed a three-year endorsement deal with runner Antonio Vega. Vega’s partnership agreement with Mizuno extends from his previous two-year relationship with the company. In his relationship with Mizuno, Vega has been an integral force in helping the company to build upon its leadership position in the specialty running category. Mizuno has a complete line of high performance running and track & field footwear and apparel.
Vega, born in Oakdale, Minnesota, ran in college for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, where he was an All-American in cross country and competed in three NCAA Cross Country Championships.
Vega kicked off 2010 in high gear, winning the US Half-Marathon held in Jan., in Houston, TX. Without slowing there, Vega continued to compete in three more USA road championships during 2010, never finishing under fourth place. Vega was crowned champion of the entire 2010 USA Running Circuit, leading all US men with 44 points.
