Hey All! I am new to running but been in fitness since my younger teenage years. I recently just completed my first 10k…I am looking for new shoes and the Sayonaras caught my eye. I would love to hear your feedback on the shoes.

    Hey there,

If you’re new to running, my recommendation would be to visit your local running shop or running expert to determine your which style of shoe (stability, cushioning, etc.) is best for you. You want to make sure you’re able to stick with running for the long hall, and it’s very important to wear the style of running shoes that suit your anatomy and running style. This will help you to run more efficiently and avoid injury as you evolve as a runner.

I’ve been running distance for over 20 years and I recently picked up the new Sayonaras. I love them! They’re extremely light and the new mid-sole cushioning feels great. They work especially well for me because I have a quick turnover in my stride, I have high arches with only mild pronation, and I’m a center striker. Also, my workouts are relatively fast these days. All that said, it seems that the Sayonaras are designed to accommodate lots or different runners. I’d say talk to a pro and give the Sayonaras a shot unless you’re advised otherwise.

    Cheers,
    Justin
