Hi looking for some advice..Have been researching different brands of sneakers and I really like the Mizunos. I have Haglunds Deformity and have had surgery on both ankles, the most recent on 10-3-13. I want a pair of sneakers that have cushion especially in the back ankle area. I did the analysis and result was Wave Creation 14(W) which I cannot locate. Would this sneaker be beneficial? I work on a hospital unit and do a lot of walking plus restraints and have to return to work. Although my tendon is fine, range of motion great the bone still needs healing and I still have pain. Any help will be appreciated!
In my opinion Saucony has the best fit around the heal. However, since you are a nurse and this is a Mizuno site you may want to try the Prophecy. It’s a spendy shoe but it has the most cushion on the market (Credit Zach Gray Mizuno sales rep DC Metro area). Another shoe you could try is the new Wave Rider 17. It’s a mid-cushion shoe, extremely light, and is at a more reasonable price.
