The Wave® Ascend™ 4 Awarded "Best Update" By Runner's World Magazine
Norcross, GA (October 5, 2009) – Mizuno USA, Inc. announced today that their Wave Ascend™ 4 (men's - women's) utilizing breakthrough Dynamotion Fit technology, has been awarded the prestigious "Best Update" award from Runner's World magazine. The innovative trail running shoe was awarded the "Best Update" designation according to the opinions of the publications' editors, as part of their Trail Shoe Review in the November 2009 issue. This "Best Update" award from Runner's World is the 10th for Mizuno since 1999, and brings the total number of awards that Mizuno has received from Runner's World to an impressive total of 28.
The Wave Ascend™ 4 is for the trail runner searching for a great blend of support and cushioning in a low-profile model built to handle all types of surfaces. The Wave Ascend™ 4 utilizes Dynamotion Fit design technology to relieve the stress that the foot naturally places on footwear, eliminating distortion for the perfect fit. Additionally, the Wet Traction bi-directional outsole rubber compound breaks through water, improving grip in all conditions.
"Mizuno has always felt that our Wave technology benefits trail runners in the same ways as road runners, and the Wave Ascend 4 is a perfect example of that," said Fritz Taylor, Vice President and General Manager of the Running Division, Mizuno USA. "We are certainly excited to achieve our 10th Best Update award from Runner's World."
The Mizuno Wave Ascend™ 4 is currently available in stores, with a suggested retail price of $89.99.
