Going into the week,I knew if I’d won the Tour Championship, the Fedex Cup was mine - one of my big goals for this season. I played well the first day, got myself into a great position but just struggled a little from there on. I didn’t really take my best game to Friday, Saturday and Sunday.I did a good job of keeping myself in with a chance come the end. JPX-800 player Stacy Lewis has capped her amazing 2011 season by qualifying for the U.S. Solheim Cup Team.
The Solheim Cup takes place Sept. 23-25, at Killeen Castle in Ireland and this is Stacy’s first appearance in the event.
Lewis turned professional after graduating with a degree in finance from Arkansas in 2008, and won qualifying school earning her LPGA Tour card in her first attempt.

Luke Donald showed that a short break worked wonders for his energy levels - winning his third title of the year at the Barclays Scottish Open.
With the stop-start 54 hole event hitting its stride on the last day, Donald showed that his nerve was the strongest of all, shooting a flawless 63 in the final round. I'm making every effort to improve my Open Championship record.I caught St. George's on two very nice days with not too much wind.My build-up to Sandwich next week has included playing Royal St. George’s last Thursday and Friday. Then I went on to Prince’s, Rye and Royal Cinque Ports. It was good preparation.I had a few friends with me so I could make it a little competitive.
