Going into the week,I knew if I’d won the Tour Championship, the Fedex Cup was mine - one of my big goals for this season. I played well the first day, got myself into a great position but just struggled a little from there on. I didn’t really take my best game to Friday, Saturday and Sunday.I did a good job of keeping myself in with a chance come the end. JPX-800 player Stacy Lewis has capped her amazing 2011 season by qualifying for the U.S. Solheim Cup Team.
The Solheim Cup takes place Sept. 23-25, at Killeen Castle in Ireland and this is Stacy’s first appearance in the event.
Lewis turned professional after graduating with a degree in finance from Arkansas in 2008, and won qualifying school earning her LPGA Tour card in her first attempt.

Luke Donald showed that a short break worked wonders for his energy levels - winning his third title of the year at the Barclays Scottish Open.
With the stop-start 54 hole event hitting its stride on the last day, Donald showed that his nerve was the strongest of all, shooting a flawless 63 in the final round. I'm making every effort to improve my Open Championship record.I caught St. George's on two very nice days with not too much wind.My build-up to Sandwich next week has included playing Royal St. George’s last Thursday and Friday. Then I went on to Prince’s, Rye and Royal Cinque Ports. It was good preparation.I had a few friends with me so I could make it a little competitive. The latest edition of Golfing Magazine includes their annual irons review, in which all four irons from Mizuno's current lineup were very well received. In fact, three of our irons - JPX-800 Pro, MP-63, and MP-53 - all received 2011 "Player's Choice" Awards from the publication. Golfing Magazine ranked all the irons based upon appearance, forgiveness, feel, consistency, and distance.
