Mizuno Brand Ambassador Stacy Lewis captured her third LPGA tour victory of the year in dramatic fashion on Sunday. Lewis’ bag included JPX-825 Pro Irons, MP wedges in addition to two new JPX prototypes – a Hybrid and 3-wood. Lewis birdied three of the final four holes to win the tournament by one shot at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Ark.

Lewis, a four-time All-American at University of Arkansas, was a fan favorite and overcame a slow start Friday to shoot a 6-under 65 on Sunday and claim victory. After posting 2-over on the first four holes of the tournament, Lewis set a blistering pace by shooting 14-under over the next 68 holes claiming the 11th victory of her career.

“Stacy has already had an unbelievable year. First it was a win at the Shoprite Classic to claim the No. 1 spot in the world, now it’s a victory at her college hometown she loves so dearly,” said Chuck Couch, Vice President of Product Management, Golf Division, Mizuno USA. “We’d like to congratulate Stacy on her 11th career LPGA Tour victory and third of 2014. We’re excited to see what the rest of the year holds.”

Recently, as part of Mizuno’s popular Play Famously campaign, a powerful video, “Golf vs. Scoliosis,” was released showcasing Lewis’ drive and determination to overcome a medical condition that could have sidelined her career before it even started. Check out Stacy’s amazing video of perseverance along with other “Team JPX” stories online at www.playfamously.com.

The final two coveted spots on “Team JPX” will be announced Friday, July 25th, 2014. Golfers are encouraged to try the new JPX EZ irons at a participating retailer, provide their feedback and submit a short essay, photo and/or video at playfamously.com. Submissions should demonstrate a passion for golf and a specific challenge that golf has helped, or is helping them overcome in their lives. Once chosen to join Team JPX, team members are outfitted from head to toe with Mizuno gear and apparel, including the JPX EZ irons, and begin their personal game-improvement journeys in preparation for competition at the second annual JPX Invitational in Atlanta in September.
