A Behind the Scenes Look at the US Open from the Mizuno PGA Tour Team - Day 3

by Iver Maple on June 16, 2011

It appears as though we achieved our goal of getting our players dialed in for this years US Open.  Both Luke and Jonathan were confident in the setup of their equipment for this week's grueling test of golf skill and nerves. We also had a former staff player stop by the van to look at the new MP 63's. It looks like we'll be busy in Hartford, at The Travelers, getting these new irons to the player's exact specifications so he'll hopefully be ready to pop them right in the bag.

The crowds were large today as the field got their last chance to study the course and fine-tune their swings for the long four days ahead. It will be interesting to see what the winning score will be on Sunday, especially with the chance of showers in the forecast for Thursday and Friday.

We hope these updates from the Tour the last few days have been insightful and we look forward to bringing you more stories and news from the Tour in the upcoming months. We wish Luke and J Byrd the best of luck this week and look forward to their performance at our Nation's Championship....the US Open.
