Consumers Can Participate by Acquiring Their “Swing DNA” at Participating Retailers
Norcross, GA (May 8, 2012) – Mizuno Golf USA, Inc., announced today the launch of their Witness The Truth Promotion, a national contest that will award one lucky winner with an all-expenses paid trip for four to the 2012 Ryder Cup in Illinois. From now until July 31, 2012, consumers can visit one of over 1,400 participating golf retailers to attain their free “Swing DNA” metrics using Mizuno’s patented Shaft Optimizer and Performance Fitting System. “Swing DNA” is a personalized measurement of the five critical data points – clubhead speed, swing tempo, toe down, kick angle, and release factor – that make up a golfer’s individual swing characteristics. Upon receiving their “Swing DNA,” consumers will input their specific metrics at www.TheIronTruth.com/Witness, which will automatically enter them into the sweepstakes for a chance to win the grand prize 2012 Ryder Cup trip.
Mizuno recently launched The Iron Truth – a marketing campaign built around the paramount importance of superior irons and iron play in every golfer’s ongoing quest to improve their game. One element of the campaign is “The Gospel According to Luke”, which plays on the shot-making prowess of the 2011 PGA Tour Player of the Year, Luke Donald.
