JPX Wedge Offers Incredible Forgiveness and Performance with a Clean Look
Norcross, Ga. (August 29, 2011) – Mizuno, a leader in golf technology and innovation, today announced the addition of the JPX wedge to its popular and successful JPX iron line. Designed specifically for the mid to high handicapper, the JPX wedges were designed to flow with any set of JPX irons, while having the ability to be a standalone line of wedges. Created to be Mizuno’s most forgiving wedge to date, the JPX wedge is the latest model to enhance Mizuno’s global JPX technology platform.
The JPX wedges feature a CNC milled face along with Mizuno’s exclusive QUAD CUT GROOVE technology, which enables Mizuno to precisely control the width, depth, draft angle and shoulder radius of each groove to deliver maximum spin control and ball stopping ability in all playing conditions.
“The JPX wedge will find its way into the bags of many mid to high-handicap players, due to its forgiveness, and ability to deliver precision, control, and spin,” said Dick Lyons, VP and General Manager, Mizuno USA, Inc. “Mizuno has been known for its MP line of clubs for accomplished golfers, but we have made incredible strides with the JPX line and are very confident it will continue to grow in popularity with the game improvement segment.”
The Triple Cut Sole design of the JPX wedge delivers ideal turf interaction and syncs perfectly with JPX irons models. Additionally, Harmonic Impact Technology (H.I.T) gives golfers the ideal sound and feel at impact. The JPX wedges feature 8620 Steel construction and a two tone Double Nickel Chrome finish for solid feel.
