The Los Angeles Dodgers ended the first half of the season on a high note, taking a four-game win streak into the All-Star Break. Mizuno Brand Ambassador and LA starting pitcher Chad Billingsley kept the Dodgers' recent winning ways alive on Friday against the San Diego Padres. The Dodgers won the game 1-0, as Billingsley fired eight shutout innings, allowing just four hits while striking out four Padres hitters. Once again Major League Baseball is allowing fans to vote on the final roster spot for both leagues. This year, Mizuno has a Brand Ambassador for both the AL and NL eligible for the final spot. The Colorado Rockies are in third place in the ultra competitive National League West Division through Monday. While the Rox are 6.5 games out of first place, they are poised to make one of their typical second half surges to get into the thick of the playoff race. One of the staples in their lineup is veteran first baseman and Mizuno Brand Ambassador Todd Helton. Helton was on a tear this past week, going 11-for-24 (.458) with two doubles, four walks, and five RBI.

Cleveland Indians third baseman and Mizuno Brand Ambassador Lonnie Chisenhall made his Major League debut Monday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
