The Atlanta Braves, while not likely to catch the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East, hold the second best record in the National League, and currently lead the NL Wild Card race. Chipper Jones has been swinging a hot bat for the Braves over the past week, going 9-for-19 (.473) with five runs scored, two doubles, a home run, and 4 RBI. Jones also picked up the 1,000th extra base hit of his career on Friday night in a 10-4 win over the Chicago Cubs.
