Mizuno's Limited Warranty for Softball Bats


This MizunoŽ bat has a one-year, one time repair or replacement limited bat warranty which covers all manufacturing defects from NORMAL field usage including cracking, breaking, loose or detached end cap, rattling. The warranty is automatically void and does NOT cover: (1) bats that have been abused, altered or mistreated; (2) bats that have been used outside their intended market category (eg,. slowpitch bats for baseball); (3) team association or professional use bats; or (4) bats that have been used in a commercial batting cage or for team batting practice.

Under no circumstances shall MizunoŽ be liable for special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, whether the claim is based upon warranty, contract, negligence, strict liability or other cause of action. The warranty is provided only to the original purchaser, and cannot be assigned or transferred. MizunoŽ strives to engineer its softball and baseball bats to comply with current standards promulgated by various associations. MizunoŽ cannot control changes in these standards or the testing procedures employed to check compliance with these standards. MizunoŽ shall not be liable for any damages or returns resulting from any ban imposed on the bat by any association.


Bat Alteration Prohibited
Mizuno does not approve of or authorize the purchaser or any other person to physically alter a Mizuno bat in any manner. Any alteration of the bat will nullify Mizuno’s limited warranty and violates Mizuno’s intellectual property rights. Furthermore, should injuries or other damages occur as a result of any use of an altered bat, the person who altered the bat, along with the player who knowingly used the altered bat, may be held liable for such injuries or damage.


To Make A Warranty Claim

  1. Do Not Return the bat to your sporting goods dealer.
  2. Complete the return authorization form. You will receive an email with the Return Authorization Number and the Return Address. Or, call customer service at 1-800-966-1211 to obtain a return authorization number and return address.
  3. Please ship the defective bat to the return address below. It is necessary that you include an original sales receipt with the bat for proper warranty credit.
  4. If the bat is found to be defective we will send a replacement with an equal valued bat as soon as possible.
  5. Return shipping charges are non-refundable.

Write your return authorization number on the outside of the box and attach a copy of the original sales receipt to the barrel of the bat. Send the package to:
